Travel to Chicago, Illinois with Bob & Wilma

Chicago is Chicago!! It's wonderful and exciting, located in the middle north of the USA.

The winters are pretty terrible BUT there are wonderful warm places to enjoy and experience indoors such as the Art Institute, the Shedd Aquarium and a plethora of other museums.

 

 

 

 

 

Outside, though in the cold, the cafe plaza in Grant Park is flooded and becomes an ice-skating ring and, during the holidays,

 

 

 

 

the zoo becomes a wonderland of lights and animals.

 

 

 

 

 

Any time during the year the many eateries, cafes, and coffee shops can be patronized and enjoyed. The beautiful and historic Drake and Whitehall Hotels are not only enjoyable to repose in but they also serve delightful meals.

 

 

 

 

 

Chicago has a multitude of architectural gems from the Wright's flat Robie House to the tall John Hancock Center at 1127 feet,

 

 

 

 

with a view of all Chicago

 

 

 

 

 

to the water tower dating to before the devastating Chicago fire.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Chicago there is no way to void art, as public art is scattered all around the city and is apparent both day and night from the parks to the streets.
